Overview

I have more than 4 years of experience in managing Linux, cPanel/WHM, SolusVM and Proxmox servers. I have versatile experience in setting up and managing servers, optimizing for the best performance and tuning the security aspects.

I have expertise in migrating websites, databases and emails from one server to another. I have also experience in pfSense Firewall and DoS/DDoS prevention, and hardening the network stack.

Responsibilities:
• Linux Server Administration
• Monitoring and maintaining multiple IT systems
• Handing escalated trouble tickets via Zendesk Help Center
• Resolving customer issues
• Troubleshooting and resolving software errors and hardware faults

Main Responsibilities:
• Oversee, manage, maintain and deploy services within the Linux server department including aspects of client support, monitoring, reporting and scripting.
• Deal and handle escalated calls and emails from all level agents which are related to technical issues. Resolves issues or escalate to the appropriate department.
• Take supervisory/complaints, queries or calls, provided that agents have already attempted to take call ownership and exhaust all resources.
• Assist all level agents in technical difficulties that they encounter during call/email and assist them in resolving these issues and communicating causes, outcomes and resolutions to theclient.
• Update all level if there is an outage of one of our systems or servers and report outages asper internal policies and procedures.
• Conduct training, coaching and mentoring to all agents. Acts as a multiplier of information to all level agents on the team. Provide technical and procedural updates to all levelagents on the team.
• To actively keep up personal skills by answering calls or tickets on a required basis.

• Taking care of the growing traffic of Mynimo’s servers
• Protecting and optimizing Mynimo’s dedicated server, VMs (Virtual Machines) and perimeter firewall making it sure it’s always running at the best it possibly can
• Administration of cPanel/WHM and VestaCP Servers
• Planning, testing, deployment and implementation of database, web and user files backup and recovery
